Great narration, thanks for sharing! Is your clutch slipping perhaps? It sounds a bit slippy.

Was this run on 4/19? That was a mess.

Yup, but not as much of a mess as race 2. In that one the sun held out just enough to fool everyone into thinking it would be a dry race.

Nope, that’s all wheelspin!

He’s safely at home =o). He hasn’t shown much interest in motorsport, but he’s half whippet so he definitely likes to go fast.

When following a car closely, you can see nothing in front of you, not even your hands. All you can see it a little bit out the extreme sides, and even that is blurry.

Sounds like when i race and the track is moist/muddy so the car infront just throws a ton of mud on your windshield. Having any idea where you’re going then isn’t easy either :D

Exactly, except in an open wheel car the windshield is an inch from your eyeballs. What do you race?

I didn't download the rules for your class, but will. A lot of power in that style of racing is found via friction reduction.

Folkrace, so low-budget normal car Rallycross pretty much. 80% dirt/gravel, 20% asphalt/concrete surface mix at most tracks, so lots of chances to get your windshield dirty trying to keep up
